Rotting in Vain
by Lady Kilroy, Lady Kilroy
“Rotting in Vain,” by Lady Kilroy
Isolde, the future Queen of the Dhadren Fae, is dealing with a dying land and hate towards the Fae from everyone else. The land is dying, and the air is poisoned, and she needs to find a cure for it or she will be the Queen of dust and famine.
This book was a really good fantasy romance with horror and dark themes. It’s a reverse harem between Isolde, Liam, and Aine. Tons of fantasy creatures like demons, fae, dragons and such added to the curse and poisoned air. I liked the relationship between the main characters and the world built was interesting. I can’t wait to read book 2 of the Taunting Death series when it comes out. 4 out of 5 stars.
