I'm not quite sure how to describe the story telling.
It was basic. Very basic.
It's like the author received an A in a college creative writing class and then decided to write a book because of it. The premise behind the book sounded promising, the lack of character development drove me insane.
Alex, the heroine, started with the personality of a pathetic, wet mop and ended the story as just a wet mop.
The hero, David, was forgettable.
The only interesting person was Glenn, and he was an asshole, but at least he had personality.
If I was reading this I would've DNFed it.
Since it was an audiobook, I suffered through it because I had a long drive ahead of me. I did speed it up as much as humanly possible to get through it faster.
