This book is solid. The pace is consistent, the premise is intriguing and the characters are nicely fleshed out. I really enjoyed the discussion about society’s expectations and disregard for women. My one problem with this novel was the paranormal element — which was a first for me in a murder mystery. It wasn’t over-the-top, just not my cup of tea.
