I was hooked from the beginning. If you love pirates and searching for treasure, this is it. The descriptions really let you see the physical and feel the emotional environments. Feisty, stabby FMC. Morally grey, brutal MMC. I related to Rowenya so much. Touch her and die vibes. The tension and banter were epic. The longing. Oh my gosh. Pirates of the Caribbean and The mummy vibes. I can’t wait to learn more about the ancient lore. That cliffhanger made me want the next book now. Grayson is up there with Xaden.
