Thought I gave up on posting books, you say? Nope.. this one just took forevveerrr. Partially because it’s 30 hours long, in contrast to the typical listen of between 8 and 15 hours.
Anyway. I loved the beginning. It felt rich in historical facts and culture.. but once Kunta Kinte’s story was done, it was less... emotional. More brief and grazing over the story. I’m equally glad I read it as I am glad that it’s done.
