The first word that comes to mind for this book is survival. The plot, Earthseed, the characters relationships. I was intrigued by Lauren and her religion/philosophy - I wouldn’t say I necessarily liked them but give credence to their endurance. Though the 2025 future is not the same as my present day it has many similarities which are disturbing but should be a wake up call. I did not enjoy the inclusion of the 40 year age gap relationship. Overall, I am glad I read and think I will try to read Kindred in the future
