Alles, was wir geben mussten by Kazuo Ishiguro

5.0

I had this book on my List for many years and somehow never really got a copy, since i was so unsure what to except from it. But i have to say i'm so glad i finally read it! I Loved it.
It definitely starts of really slow and the generel style is slow, which i personally liked.

This book reveals itself piece by piece and it feels a like a puzzle we're putting together really slowly (eventhough many things are not hard to guess, but it's more about the feeling you have when the puzzle is completed and you have it all put together)

I like this books perspective on what it means to live and how we give meaning and purpose to it.

I think that's more than enough to know before getting started on this one. Also i'd definitely say literary fiction fits this book the best, so if you're really not into that and more of a Sci-fi reader, maybe keep that in mind.
