Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass by Frederick Douglass

I hesitate to rate this because, while it was good, I have read it (or parts of it) a few different times for school and have, as a result, found it as "homework" more than anything else. That being said, this is a very good account of slavery and particularly Frederick Douglass' life. Douglass is so intelligent and his writing is engaging. Like all homework, though, I got bored by the end.

Definitely don't regret the read and feel it's important for literally everyone to read at least once.
