How to Kiss Your Enemy by Jenny Proctor

2.75

Not bad but just kind of boring. There wasn’t enough of an explanation on why they were enemies to begin with. Being the daughter of a famous chef and being a womanizer aren’t reason enough. It’s said they were rivals but we never get any stories of how that played out to make it believable.

There was zero angst and honestly zero romance. Authors need to do more than just “he brushed against me and I felt a zap.” Or “his chest is so chesty I could be against it all day. But wait! Why am I thinking this?! I don’t like him!” It’s so played out and overdone and does not properly convey falling for someone.

Both main characters were just overall boring. However, I read the whole thing and didn’t hate it. It’s a fine enough palette cleanser but that’s all.
