When Stars Are Scattered by Omar Mohamed, Victoria Jamieson

5.0

Oh my goodness. This book was riveting. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking simultaneously. I was engrossed in Omar and Hassan's story of refugees waiting for their circumstances to change, assuming their characters were based on some of the millions going through the same experience. I was dumbfounded to learn that the story was true! I will recommend this book to SO many of my students.
