The Girl You Left Behind
by Jojo Moyes
⭐3.5⭐
It was quite hard for me to get through this book especially on the REALLY long narration throughout the story. I think that the story was a nice idea though and reading about WWI was really interesting as I haven't read many books referring to it.
I think that the way the two stories connected was really imaginative and the use of two different perspectives kept me going because I wanted to find out more.
I felt like I was waiting for something to happen the whole time and the the writer was building up the story to end up, at one point, to something predictable.
Except that and some other minor things it was a quite enjoyable read and I really liked the way Sophie's story ended leaving me wanting some more but that wasn't enough for me to give it more stars.
