I have read Karin Slaughter's entire Triptych series and one other book that was not related, Pretty Girls.
While, Pretty Girls was really good it doesn't hold a candle to what Karin Slaughter does so well, police procedurals. And I am so thrilled we have a lady cop leading the narrative in this one. (I freaking love Will Trent for life, but it's always nice to have a woman be the badass and not just the badass sidekick.)
Anyway, this book had me in a chokehold and I had a hard time putting it down. As always the twists are well crafted and I don't see them coming but she lays it all out for you after the fact in such a satisfying way.
Really fantastic start to a new series.
