I just listened to Ten Steps to Nanette, narrated by the author. I first learned of Ms. Gadsby via her wonderful Netflix special, Nanette. In Ten Steps to Nanette, she peels back the onion (so to speak) describing her upbringing as well as pivotal adult experiences. She also describes how she designed the Nanette stand-up, which I found geekily fascinating.
Something I admire about Ms. Gadsby is how articulate she is in describing her experiences as both a child and adult, and her willingness to share painful experiences (vulnerability). She is a treasure and I look forward to following her work for long into the future.
