There aren't a lot of good things to say about this book. The storyline was good and intriguing, and that's about it. The characters felt like they had the emotional maturity of middle schoolers, there were plot points that were never solved or just didn't make sense (such as the journals: how did they actually work? Did Mrs Q buy enough journals at one time for all of her classes to come? That seems a bit far fetched.), and the writing severely lacked detail in more places than not. Also, the main character didn't click for me. She invented a pretend relationship for herself....really? Really. I think you'd have to be mentally unstable before the event happened for that to actually occur, and everything we know about her life before points to her being very average. And you could so tell from the moment she saw Griffin that they were going to end up together by the end of the book, even though that relationship still doesn't make sense. I would not recommend this book.
