Król uciekinier by Jennifer A. Nielsen

This is a brilliant, brilliant series. I was really impressed with The False Prince but this book goes beyond that — it ASTOUNDED me. I've noticed a lot of problems with second books in trilogies, but this is probably one of the best I've seen.

Some of the characters introduced in the first book are less prominent, while the other takes the front seat and make stunning impressions. There's a lot of development especially from our protagonist, Jaron.

The plot is done very well again. It's a fast-paced book and definitely a page-turner.
The setting isn't incredibly detailed, but it's not underdeveloped, thank goodness.

As for the writing, it's smooth and well done. What I like best about it is Jaron's sarcasm. It is simply the best and half the book I was grinning (okay, okay, I admit, I'm kinda in love with him).

It could be said that I can't wait for the third book, but that's so cliche.
