Four Walls and a Black Veil by Aamer Hussein, Fahmida Riaz
emotional
reflective
medium-paced
2.0
a collection of urdu poetry with moments of brilliance, the rage, anger, and weariness in a patriarchal and misogynist world palpable, interspersed with nature. however, overall it's forgettable, and i perhaps need to read more into the context and cultural notes to fully and more deeply understand and appreciate this.
