This was incredible! I loved it so much. Alice Oseman has a way of writing that makes you feel soft, seen and sad. Her representation is some of the best out there and loveless is no exception. Ace rep is needed so much and I know how much this book means to aces. To me. And I hope it can educate a lot of allos as well, because the portrayal was so thoughtful.
I saw a bit too much of myself in Georgia it was a bit scary. I might not be aro-ace, but I am on the ace spectrum and Georgia’s whole personality is so much like mine.
I heard many people say that they didn’t care about the Shakespeare play plot. While I see how that could happen, I do feel like the passion of the characters should be enough to get you engaged. It definitely worked for me, but then again I like Shakespeare so I didn’t need a lot of convincing.
The characters were incredible. I want them all as my friends. All of them are so fleshed out and flawed and beautiful. They have my whole heart.
Reading this book just left me feeling so soft.
