the more i read, the worst it got. nathalie's character felt painfully relatable for me as a 24yo adult and that should say something but she just went on and on about her insecurities, to the point where it got unbearable. is it what it really feels like to be a teenager? i still finished it cause i was listening to the audiobook but probably would've dnf'd it if i was reading it.
