I liked the overall story and the characters were great, especially Lena, the main character. I loved how the story unfolded through her eyes and it was easy to see how she made the choices she did throughout the book.

I was really disappointed with the ending, it felt so rushed and
I’m annoyed we don’t know what happened to Erin, even though it’s because of her Lena is safe. Erin deserved a better ending even if she was sort of deceitful, she was a good friend to both Desiree and Lena.
. I also could not stand the repeated phrase “shitnuts.” The first time was fine, it was overused immediately after that. It would take me out of the story because I hated it so much. I was also annoyed at Lena’s wrist itching anytime she was stressed but never having a proper explanation as to why, especially with a character who never minded giving us backstory.

TL;DR the story and characters definitely made this books enjoyable. But the ending wasn’t super satisfying and felt extremely rushed.
