4.75/5 so. good. i hated both of the characters so much (which i believe was the entire point), but this was such a good read. the first half was a little slow, but even knowing the halfway plot twist could not prepare me for the wild ride that was this book. miss gillian flynn could work on the idea of not having vaguely incest-y siblings though! nick & go (also who chooses go as a nickname?) seemed closer than amy and nick at the beginning of their marriage, which weirded me out. besides that, the mystery was really intriguing and such a good read. also amy was kind of a #girlboss. the fact that this book got me to empathize with literal sociopaths just shows how good it was
