Of the 3 novellas this one's my favorite! I adored Despina and Jalal in The Wrath & the Daen and always wanted to know what had happened before Shazi appeared. THEY ARE ADORABLE. I looove them both so much and therefore this was a great little novella... I highly enjoyed it!
