“For the weakest has but to try his strength to find it, and then he shall be strong.”
Okay, I took a long time to read this, but I'm glad I pushed through. I missed Robin Hobb's writing. It was interesting to see the way that she wrote multiple POVs since the Farseer trilogy is a single POV, but she did a phenomenal job; I never felt any POV was unnecessary, and Hobb continued to dive expertly into each of her characters regardless of how likable or unlikeable they are. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much I hate Kyle and how much of that results from her character writing. I understand him, but I hate him. I can't wait to continue on in her works with this trilogy.
