June is fascinated with her uncle’s work on fuel cells built for space machines. After he passes away, she carries her fascination on and attends the prestigious space education school near her adopted home. Eventually she ends up in space and crosses paths with some of her uncle’s original team. When a crew on mission goes missing, she is determined to figure out what happened to them, though some do not share her determination. A strange blend of romance, science-fiction, and space fantasy, the story jumps around a bit. There are some unexplained plot holes and odd character twists that make for some bumpy storytelling.
