Incredibly gripping, solid, concise, accurately descriptive and emotional. Hard to put down once you get into it, very insightful portrayal of what happens if you have a child to look after when the world's gone tits up. Dare say the makers of The Last of Us drew some inspiration from this, just as Cormac McCarthy may have drawn inspiration from Lone Wolf and Cub. Excellent.
