Cleopatra's Sister by Penelope Lively

I really enjoyed this book. The first half was a little dull, but the switching between the narratives and the history of Callimbia was very interesting. The second half had all the action-and of course the relationship between Howard and Lucy.
I freakin' loved these characters. Best thing about the book, hands down.
