Jenna's life fell apart. At 40 years, fresh off a break up and begging for a job from her arch nemesis, she is broke, desperate and on the brink of rock bottom. So one night, she goes out drinking with her friends and ends up making out with a hot stranger, Eric - a 22 year old man. What follows is a secret relationship that could possibly destroy her career. Will she risk it all for a man she just met who is also 20 years her junior?

When you find out Eric's identity, you will be out here screaming like I did. This book had me laughing out loud. Eric and JJ's relationship is so smoldering hot. Damn! I wasn't a fan of all the contemporary celebrity references but given that the book is set in the fashion world, they were necessary.
From the author that gave us Seven Days in June, Tia has provided us with another tale of black love featuring an older woman. And the movie adaptation is underway. Like, what more could you ask for???
I wasn't obsessed with this book, but I was having so much fun I could hardly out the book down.
Okay, I'll leave you one quote that had my heart squeezing;

"I don't want these clinical, awkward setups. I don't feel like doing this twenty more times. I can't imagine meeting my soulmate through an interview process. I want to know without words. I want fall so violently that I risk breaking into a million pieces. I want to love so desperately it's indecent. I want it to be wild and fated and forever. A no choice connection."

I meannnnn....
Go check this out! It's a fun quick read.
