Every Last Fear by Alex Finlay

4.0

If you’re looking for a modern day murder mystery with dark themes and multiple POVs, a story that keeps you guessing until the very end, then this is the book for you! I was absolutely shocked when they revealed the antagonist, and I LOVE THAT.

This story was written in a unique way that I very much enjoyed, with each chapter set either before or after the tragic events that occur in the story. This helps the reader follow along with the mystery and adds layers to the suspense. I truly felt drawn into the lives of the main characters. It was easy to keep track of most characters. I liked how each side characters was described and made important and relavant to the story.

There are also chapters that read like a documentary script, which I’m sure looks cool in writing, but since I listened to this via audiobook, I’m only guessing.

All in all, I appreciate this book and highly recommend it to any thriller book fans out there! I’ll definitely be giving this author another read.
