This collection of mostly bad short stories that just stop when the requisite word count is reached (or so it seems) has at least one redeeming tale. I enjoyed "Sunwalker's Kiss" enough to be on the lookout for more from its author Shea McLeod. In fact I may just get the novels in the Sunwalker's saga. I must also confess that I enjoyed the story that followed immediately after, "Magickal Vendetta." That makes Heather Adkins' THE TEMPLE another possible to-be- read. The obvious purpose of this collection is to tantalize the reader into buying longer works by the contributors. The final score -- two tantalized, the other seven were crap.
