Goddess by Josephine Angelini
4.0
So this final book, well I finished Dreamless about lunch time then started reading Goddess pretty much straight away and by 11pm that same night I had finished it. That should tell you something. I have to say to begin with I wasn't finding myself as gripped at the offset, but that quickly changed. Again with the love story I could have gone either way here with Helen choosing Lucas or Orion, but I am glad she chose who she did and that everyone (almost) ended up with who they should have been. I loved the merging of more Gods for the battle although I was hoping for some major bad ass battle between Helen and one of them, but I suppose after Ares in the last one that's maybe a bit mean. I was shocked with Hector and so glad that got resolved because he was just like a big protective teddy bear. One thing I have enjoyed with this series is how Hades has come across. I have to say after reading this whole trilogy in a matter of days, it's given me a serious case of book hangover. I do wonder if we'll ever delve back into this world at some point, I mean I'd like to see what happens if the other Olympians tried to get revenge or when Lucas was finally called to the Underworld.
