Gaslight gatekeepers girlboss in every literal sense

Seriously tho: it was fine. Killed some time on a plane ride. I think it would have been more compelling if the characters and their relationships had been more fleshed out.
As it was, I couldn't see any reason for this obsession Lucy had for Alice. The author kept telling us she had it and I guess it didn't feel real?? It would have been more interesting is Alice had reciprocated in SOME way, but all we see is her being creeped out by Lucy. Their friendship doesn't feel real bc Alice is always just so disturbed by her.

Also this is more of a stylistic thing, but the alternating narrator from first person POV made it pretty hard to get into rhythm with the book.
