The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires

4.0

Since now is the time to post this one (according to the rules on Netgalley):

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, just wow. This book was super adorable and really lovely. I loved the girl, I loved the dog, and the illustrations were really interesting and looked nice.

Why interesting? Well because the background is mostly just black lines, no colour at all. Houses are just drawn, but not coloured or have much details, but, BUT, the characters, trees, several others things are in colour, and they just jump out of the book.

Also, wonderful font chosen for this book, it was really nice and friendly to the eyes.

I also really liked the story. The girl tries to make a magnificent thing, but it won't work, no matter how many things she makes, how much she tries. She explodes, takes a break and then, BOOM inspiration and she sees clearly. What is the magnificent thing? Well you will just have to read this adorable book. I will promise, you won't be disappointed. :)

Thanks Netgalley and the publisher there who allowed me to read this book.
