I cannot fathom what kind of other books people have read if they felt justified giving this book stars. I do not know and do not want to know what the rest of this book is like. I could not even finish it. The characters disappeared and were never mentioned again, character development was a fanciful tangent and as with some young adult, it seemed imperative that we know THE HAIR AND EYE COLOUR of each character (and as this was probably the most interesting part of their personality) I can understand
