i typically love entangled books but this one was just ok for me.
this story was kind of all over the place. both MC's were hot and cold...sometimes they were great and sometimes not. they would do something nice for each other and treat each other like crap in the next scene. i'm not sure if i liked either one of them. the story was riddled with stereotypical behavior for both jarod (the southern good ole' boy) and vivian (the cold, heartless yank).
there was a subplot with frederick that didn't add much to the story other than another semi-protagonist. miranda was a b!tch. mel was a decent character but a little over the top.
part of my problem is a bit of a spoiler, so i'm hiding it here...
overall, i didn't hate it but i didn't love it.

i had a really hard time with how quickly vivian 'fell into bed' with jarod...the whole quid pro quo thing was really far fetched and that vivian was chasing the corporate dream and dropped her clothes in the closet was a bit too much for me. and she is attempting to change his image however doing the exact thing that got him in trouble to begin with which really bothered me.overall, i didn't hate it but i didn't love it.
