Okay, I have found a new favorite from F.T. Lukens. I really enjoyed everything about this. I loved how the fantasy was woven almost seamlessly into a contemporary world. The issues the MCs encounter mirror so much of what also happens in the real world, which manages to make this story feel rather relatable in the end. The magic is fun, the mystery was interesting, and the found family that hrows throughout the story was so heartwarming and just downright endearing. Cam is a very real character, which makes it easy to experience the story through his POV, despite the magical shenanigans that ensue. Overall, I really loved this, and I had so much fun while reading this. I highly HIGHLY recommend checking this one out.
