I loved this so much I cried. Tears of joy and sadness. And I’m still crying. GIBSIE😭

Gibsie- I am saying his nickname because his full name is for Claire. Anyway, I love this man. More like a best friend though. Hilarious but very much a tender soul. I don’t pity him, but damnit, the shit this man went through. Everyone just needs to back off. Leave him and his girl alone to have their time and no more trauma. PLEASE.🙏

Claire- She is so real for everything she does. Finally sticking up to Lizzie. Like Lizzie can’t be blaming Gibsie forever which everyone knows. So I am overjoyed that Claire finally stood up to her. Also, Claire is such an amazing character. Definitely a girls girl.

Overall I really loved this book. The writing, as usual, is spectacular. I found like one or two spelling errors but it was in Gibsie’s chapter, so I think that was on purpose..? Also, is it bad I don’t hate Lizzie? She lost her sister, and yeah I understand the way she lost her sister is unconventional and not at all as sad as the way Gibsie did. But nonetheless, she still lost a member of her family. And also, she can’t take it out on mark since he isn’t there so she does the next best things. Like Shan says, hurt people hurt people. Even if they don’t want to, they do it still. I did, I know lots of people that do and did. Understandable in my opinion. But overall, like I said. I loved this book, and I’m gonna go finish sobbing in the corner.
