I have mixed feelings.

On the one hand, this was a good book. It had important information and was well written and researched. On the other hand, I just feel like it was preaching to the choir. Not that there's anything the author can do about that, so maybe I shouldn't begrudge it; I just couldn't help thinking the entire time that the people who need this information probably won't read this book. Though, I admit, it's possible my ex who was liberal leaning but very invested in the concept of grit might read it and that could be a net good. 😉

Seriously though, good book. Worth a read. I can only hope some people who don't already know some of the things presented in it pick it up.
