Ok, I just grabbed this book because I like the blurb, and I am so glad I did! This was a fun, quirky read. I love the concept of text/email banter back and forth between the main characters. Not many authors can pull it off, but Kayley did a fabulous job.

Alex was a child-actor turned director and Amelia was his son’s teacher. They meet at a club and he sees something in Amelia that he never knew he was missing. They have a HOT kiss and don’t meet up again until they see each other at a parent/teacher conference.

I loved the banter between these two! I also loved that the author didn’t throw the usual “drama” into the story. She let the story speak for itself. I’m also glad that she didn’t throw the usual “rule of not dating a parent while teaching their child or you're fired” (It’s just discouraged.). I also like that she didn’t make the ex-wife evil. It was very refreshing.

I didn’t read about Alex’s friends in the previous books, but I will now! A great read! I can’t wait for more!
