The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats

The Snowy Day captures a young boy named Peter enjoying the first snow of winter. The descriptiveness of the story makes it easy to stay engaged. This children's book also helped open the doors to the wide variety of multicultural literature that exists today. It is important for children of all races to see themselves being represented in literature and the classroom and Keats has contributed greatly to that.
