🌊 Once again Alice Feeney has left me in awe with her exceptionally beautiful writing and a spine chilling plot twist. It was a perfect pick for the spooky season and I'm glad I picked it up sooner than I had planned.

🌊 The story is about Daisy & the Darker Family that is reuniting at Seaglass house on a private island for their grandmother's eightieth birthday which falls on Halloween. They haven't been in the same place together in over a decade. When the family is cut off from the rest of the world for 8 hours because of the high tide, the family members begin to die one after another. Is there someone else at Seaglass apart from the family or someone within the family is murdering others?

🌊 The book is creepy as hell and definitely a page turner. It's very similar to Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None' as there's a private island, no connection to the rest of the world, murders happening one after another, everyone suspecting each other, a creepy poem about the family members and the strike out of stanzas after the murder of that particular member. The only thing that is not similar is the end and trust me you'll be shocked.

🌊 The book is full of great quotes and is fast paced with short chapters. I can go on and on praising this amazing book so cutting it short I'll only say that I highly recommend Daisy Darker to everyone especially if you are looking for a creepy murder mystery or loved And Then There Were None.
