Though this wasn't a full 5 stars for me like the other 2, I did really enjoy it. I love the way Tessa writes her characters and all the details around them. This book made me laugh out loud while also sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the moment where these two couldn't fight the chemistry anymore. This was probably one of the best meet cutes ever and then the rug was ripped out from under them. Sig was a man in love from day one. I have really tracked with a lot of love at first sight books, but this one worked for me because of how long the relationship dragged out before they caved. I loved how Sig did so much to help Chloe spread her wings. He just wanted to the best for her. And the way this man didn't know if he was worthy because of what she came from broke me and made me love him even more. Then we have Chloe who though she seemed ditzy it was more because of how sheltered she was. This was a woman who had been pampered her who life and then upon meeting a man, everything changed. She felt free and supported and loved and struggled with her feelings because of the complication of him being her future stepbrother. Chloe was amazing with Sig. She supported him. She pushed herself. She made the hard decisions even though she knew they were right. She loved him in the most glorious way that she could while being his future stepsister.

Sig has never been a man who believes in fate. Too many things have gone the wrong way for him. One thing that has taught him though is to never give up and sometimes you have to work hard to get what you want. So when he meets the love of his life that he knows almost instantly and then 30 minutes later finds out she is going to be his step sister. He decides then and there it can't be true. He is going to marry this woman. This woman who makes him feel so many things. This woman who he convinces to leave her mom and move to Boston so she can spread her wings. This woman who he silently supports from afar because he loves her. This woman who he can't stop thinking about in inappropriate ways as a future step brother. The woman who gets a pink bedazzled jersey to wear to his games with HIS name on the back. All is well as "friends." Sig has a plan, but when the press get wind of their taboo relationship he realizes time is not on his side. And now that he has really had Chloe, he will never let her go. He just has to find a way to get out of this mess and hope that it isn't too late.

Chloe has been living in a bubble of sorts her whole life. She hasn't wanted for anything. She is in good hands. But then she meets Sig and all of her wants and dreams come to the surface. She wants to move to Boston. She wants to prove to her mom that she can live on her own. She wants to be with this man who makes her feel love and supported beyond belief. But she can't because they are going to be step brother and sister soon. How could HE of all people be her person and not at the same time? So they play this dance. They don't date other people. They do everything together. But it becomes too much. Her heart is breaking on the reg because of this angst. But then they cave. They have an unforgettable night together. One that she will never forget but can't happen again. Sig can't give up her dreams for him. And she doesn't want to give hers up for him either. So she makes the hard decision. She walks. And hopes beyond all hope that he doesn't believe she is gone forever because she isn't. She is just waiting for a solution.

SOO much angst in this one. It was absolutely delicious! And when the spice did happen OMG- the dirty talk from Chloe was top notch. This book as the others would not be the same without the side characters. I loved reading about the two O donors and liked the T up for Corrigan and Elton's sister (can't remember her name). I have really enjoyed this series so much and like I said though this wasn't 5 stars, it was a very solid 4 for me.
