I love her lyrical writing style - it brings you to the into the culture, the attitudes, the heart and soul of the deep South. I enjoyed the way she structured the story into mini chapters, from the perspective of all sorts of characters, and not necessarily in chronological order. The story is resonant and the characters one of a kind. A great book.
