Tropes: Arranged Marriage, Single Guardian, Fated Mates, Vampire/Werewolf, Knotting, Lying to Protect
3rd Act Breakup?: Yes

The Praise: I loved Misery and Lowe so much! Ana was so cute, too. I really need Ali to write a full blown single parent romance now. As usual for Ali’s books, the banter was hilarious and the romance was sweet. I’m loving these new (at least to tradpub) contemporary shifter romances.

The Critique: I loved this book so, so much…but I had to deduct a quarter of a star for the phrase
“pop a knot” 😖

Final Thoughts: Hilarious, fun, sexy, and heart-wrenching. Ali can do (almost, see above) no wrong in my eyes.
