The Near Witch by V.E. Schwab
4.0
4.5 stars for The Near Witch- this book is mysterious, fabulous and creepy!! (If you live alone like I do, I recommend reading it in the daytime. Trust me on this one.)
As an avid reader of YA paranormal sometimes I feel like a lot of the books are very similar. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, I love me some paranormal characters (vampires, werewolves and faeries, oh my!) but occasionally I feel like I'm in a slump and really need a change. I think that is why I loved The Near Witch as much as I did- it was so different than anything I've read recently, it was like a breath of fresh air.
