I felt like this book kind of spoilt an interesting plot point in the Revelations - the identity of the conspirator against the crown - and made our duo look like fools for having forgotten it. Otherwise, I thought the book was alright. The big exception, of course, being the female characters. Their reason for being in this book is to provide motivation to the male protagonists - by being damsels in distress either in mortal danger, in need of revenge or about to be killed.
