Not a romance reader but the plot sounded interesting and I'm trying to expand the genres I read. I have learned that I don't particularly enjoy explicit woo-hoo scenes and the plot was pretty trope-y. While I try to keep in mind what I was like in my early 20's, I found Cat to be super grating in the beginning but warmed up to her as she matured throughout the book. Griffin is the stereotypical one dimensional "gruff, explosively angry at times, overprotective man" and never really developed for me. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone but it's not a poorly written book.
