I simply don’t know what happened. I heard rave reviews from a whole spectrum of people that this book was incredible…
I didn’t feel the romantic spark
I found myself a bit confused at times
Lots and lots of back story which seemed like good build up but then ultimately was kind of convenient
Tbh I feel like I randomly missed 50 pages that would have given the *wow* factor to the pieces coming together
OBVIOUSLY still a lil maas X fan but this was not my favorite and really just felt like a long setup for the next book in the series
