This trilogy just gets more and more interesting! We've finally uncovered some mysteries, then found more questions. The introduction of several side characters were also nice, although it maybe could've been better if they were given some sort of background. Some side characters were simply inserted, then the whole crew were just like, "Yep, okay. We're friends now."

I mean, Percy and Gavriel? Together?? I know Percy can perceive others' emotions and thingamajigs but the whole persona Gav was showing just kinda don't match with how easily he accepted his help.

Also, I honestly thought this would be the time for Gavriel's groveling. I guess we'll see that on the next book, plus his showdown with Seraphiel. Oooh, I wonder if there'll be a big fight.

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this book and I can see that this trilogy is going to be epic. I hope book 3 delivers. Happy reading!
