This is not my usual genre but the story was good. There are a lot of characters in this book and I feel like its a little too much. Theres too many people to keep up with and figure out their motivations. I'm most interested in Maggie and Souxie and wish the author would have focused primariily on them and added other characters later in the series.
My biggest complaint about the book is often the characters felt like 18 yo kids and I had to remind myself that they are in their late 20's. There are parts of the book where im asking why are these grown folks acting and thinking this way. I get that making them older allows for the spicy scenes, but having all of the characters be 21 would have worked just fine.
Overall, it's a decent read and I'm going to read the next book in the series.
