An incredibly gripping read and considering this isn't something I typically read that's saying a lot.
I think my only complaint really is that the pay-off for the reveal of the mystery connecting Monique and Evelyn felt a little underwhelming. However, I was so invested in everything else that was happening that I really don't mind.
The story pertaining to only Monique sometimes felt weak and could probably have been developed a bit better. Frankly though at times it felt like a breath of fresh air in comparison to Evelyn's story so I think it still served a good purpose to the overall plot.
I highly recommend this and will be picking up other books by Reid in the future.
