King of Thieves by Saxon James
4.0
I can't believe I've enjoyed a book in which one of the MCs is literally named Chad, and yet.
To be honest I didn't expect to be so entertained, but there are a lot of fun moments and shenanigans in this book - I especially loved the King of Thieves challenge. While I don't understand frat mentality, I didn't have any problems with it given that Saxon James took toxic masculinity and burned it with a passion.
As for the romance, I liked it a lot. Bailey and Chad work really well together and they're sweet as hell; to be fair all of the relationships here (Bailey and his family, Chad and his brothers) are the cutest. The somewhat presence of a plot didn't hurt either and it helped give depth to the overall situation.
Saxon James' writing is straightforward and engrossing, it was so easy to get caught up in the narrative. Kudos!
